With the Judas trees decked out in pink, and tulips and anemones waving as one walks past, the Tuileries is arguably at its most beautiful in April. And if you can score a green chair in a just-right shaded spot (they can be a hot commodity on a warm, sunny day), you should definitely stay awhile. Sketching there became an almost daily ritual for me and turning those sketches into this watercolor in my studio later meant reliving the magic all over again, if only for awhile.
